2011 – The Year of the Youth
What a blessing our Christmas Eve service was this year. With some of the younger saints reading those precious passages of Scripture telling us of Christ’s birth it was one of the highlights of the evening. Each year we seek God in prayer for a theme in which CCSH follows as it continues to grow and minister here in Secret Harbour. The theme for 2011 is going to be “The Year of Reaching the Youth”. With God’s grace, your prayers, resources and serving hearts we will be focusing heavily on the children’s programs, youth outreaches and being an encouragement to them. May I ask that you make this an ongoing focus of your prayers for 2011. Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you teach, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity. 1 Timothy 4:12 Our prayer and hope for 2011 is that we will see many many young ones, children and youth, come to know Christ in 2011!
