Serving the Lord…
Last Friday evening I dropped in on the CCSH Youth who were utilising the beautiful beach for their outreach. What a joy it was to my heart to see so many young boys and girls (youth) having a great time together. This was such a blessing an answer to our prayers this year to reach the youth. But what also was impressive was the number of young couples and singles who were there to assist the Pastor Marlon and his team. I watched as all those who were there in a capacity to serve did not just float around the fringes but were involved and participating. Paul taught us in Galatians last Sunday that the freedom Christ has given us is NOT so we can indulge our own desires but by love serve one another…Galatians 5:13. On a Friday evening in Secret Harbour, when each of these youth leaders could have been certainly having their own time to themselves, they instead were out being a blessing to those who do not know Christ and really spreading the gospel of Christ by their actions as well as their words. Let us keep the CCSH Youth and Calvary Kids in our prayers and love them as Christ would have us do…by this the world shall know you are my disciples!!
