The blessedness of fellowship…
There are times that Helen and I are just overwhelmed by the blessedness of fellowship with those whom the Lord has us serving. Some one says or does something that is filled with the love and grace of God toward you and it gives you a very real taste of what our fellowship will be like when we are all with the Lord in glory.
Paul reminds us in the Book of Acts 20:35 I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
The power of giving, the power of blessing I often wonder if we really aren’t aware of how wonderful it can be and the result it can have, just something small, just something thoughtful for someone else.
This week, tomorrow, do something not expected by someone you know and bless them in some practical and simple way.
It will have both an eternal and present effect – a blessing in both spheres!
