CCSH in Israel …

Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour   -

It’s Friday in Israel by the Sea of Galilee and the sabbath has begun. So far the tour has been in top gear visiting on our first day, the house of Simon the Tanner in Joppa where Peter had the amazing vision on the roof top and then the arrival of the men from Cornelius in Caesarea . Simply amazing is the location and city of Joppa.
The following morning we were at Caesarea and then up to Mt Carmel and there we were overwhelmed with the view over Megiddo, where the battle of Armageddon will be!
This was a place that impacted many on the trip to the Holy land.
We travelled onto Nazareth, the home of Jesus for some 30 years and then headed to our kibbutz located on the Galilee….
Today was  amazing seeing  as we headed north to Dan and on the borders of Syria and Lebanon with gun fire occasionally heard in the distance – but there was no danger at all as we saw the gate that Abraham passed through to enter Canaan and then Caesarea Philippi….enough of the travel log.
Israel is touching the hearts of all in the tour and there is at many times simply an overwhelming of the things we are seeing and where we are standing. This truly is the Holy land and it just turns the pages of the Bible from paper into 3 dimensional vision.
God is moving on the hearts of many here in a way that many have said is surreal.
The reality of where we are is kept very real as apache helicopters head to Lebanon, the skies over Megiddo are filled with the noise of Israely jet fighters and the ever present vision of young men and women dressed in their army gear either heading to duty or coming off duty.
Let us continue to honour God’s command and pray for the people and land of Israel!
For this land is truly the land of Abraham and the apple of God’s eye. – shalom from Galilee.
