Wednesday Night – Prayer/The Book of Exodus
I pray that you can join with us for prayer on Wednesday at 7:00pm in the chapel and then be ready to study the new series on the Book of Exodus directly after.
As I have been preparing this study, I have been moved by the sovereignty of God in this amazing time in Israel’s history – a family becoming a nation. But in particular have I been in awe of Mose’s mother and father, Amram and Jochebed. They have laid a foundation in history for all parents to follow, an example for us to strive for.
For it was their faith that impacted Moses and their faith in God to defy Pharaoh, and their faith to believe that their son Moses was a special baby, a child that God had a plan for, that God wanted to use, that God had a destiny that was far beyond their wildest imaginations.
May I prompt you parents, mums and dads to join with us in prayer on Wednesday and encourage you to pray with the faith of Amram and Jochebed, to believe you son, your daughter, all your children, God has given you because He has a destiny, a ministry, a purpose and power for their existence that would see them used by God as He had planned for Moses!
Come join us in prayer and place your children before the Lord Almighty with hearts of faith believing an amazing ministry is awaiting them. But you need to be trusting like Moses mum and dad……who knows what awaits?
