The Power of Prayer Together!

Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour   -

“I would rather teach one man to pray than ten men to preach” – C.H. Spurgeon.
“The man who mobilizes the Christian church to pray will make the greatest contribution to world evangelization in history” – Andrew Murray.
“Pray as if everything depended upon your prayer” – William Booth.
In the history of the church there have never been a time like we are living now so close to the return of Jesus Christ for His Church – the rapture.
But also never has the church wielded such little influence, or been so powerless in our local community, our state and our nation.
The Bible tells us that when the church first began gathering together, it was for prayer. On the Day of Pentecost, 120 believers gathered together in a room, and as they prayed the Holy Ghost fell upon them.
Their spirits were so ignited that they began to speak with other tongues and to prophesy.
Later, as the new body of believers began to multiply, we see throughout the book of Acts that Christians believed mightily in prayer and the power that was associated with prayer.
Act 4:31
And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.
Never before has the world, Australia, Western Australia, Secret Harbour, needed prayer warriors as much as it needs them now.
The church has never needed the power to pray as much as it does today.
May you sense the calling of the Holy Spirit on your heart to fulfil this urgent ministry here at Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour.
I encourage you to join with us each second Wednesday evening as we gather as one body to pray.
In His grace
