Prayer changes you…!
Psa 55:17 Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, And He shall hear my voice.
Pray for your wife, your husband, your son, your daughter, your grand daughter, your grandson…..!
As we pray for those whom we love, God changes us as we pray to be the Christ-like people God desires us to be and the people our loved ones need us to be.
Prayer strips the old nature away and strengthens who I am now in Christ – a new creature – 2 Cor 5:17.
Prayer removes cutting words from my speech. It washes away angry thoughts and selfishness from my mind. Prayer turns me into the person God desires for me to be and into the person I want to be especially with those whom I love.
When I neglect prayer, I decay in kindness and gentleness. I am less forgiving and I act like the person I never want to be.
3Jo 1:2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
Why don’t we pray more?
