Ecclesiastes Series – #meaning Part 13: “Last Words”
This Sunday evening we come to the end of our study in the book of Ecclesiastes.
Solomon has been exploring and observing life lived under the sun – as he does so he often repeats the phrase ‘Vanity of vanities’ or ‘everything is meaningless’. Solomon’s recount of his journey reaches its conclusion in Chapter 12 and his words serve as a helpful reminder of what is important in life.
Truly, life can be depressing when God is left out. But how exciting it is when He is at the centre!
Jesus is the answer to all of the questions that Solomon, in all his wisdom, asked but could not fully answer!
When we focus on Christ, everything else becomes clear. You see, life does have meaning. Not, “under the sun” but IN THE SON OF GOD!
