Love, Live, Fight – Part 10: Renew
You are invited to join with Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour this Sunday evening from 6.00 p.m. as we continue our series called “Love, Live, Fight” from the New Testament book of Ephesians.
Last week’s passage saw Paul introduce the analogy of clothing and connect this to the lifestyle of the Christian – he commanded us to ‘put off’ the old man and to ‘put on’ the new. In other words, the way we live now as Christians ought to be different to the way we lived as non-Christians, and ought to be different to the lifestyles of non-Christians.
In this week’s passage from Ephesians (4:25-32), Paul mentions specific behaviours that are to mark the Christian life and are to act as the ‘clothing’ of the person whose life has been transformed by Jesus Christ. Much like a fashion editor who informs in an article what is trending and what is not, Paul tells the Christian of ‘what to wear’ in our daily conduct.
See you on Sunday the 1st of July from 6 p.m. for worship and study in God’s word as we dig into Eph 4:25-32 and consider this important message and continue this series.
