Love, Live, Fight – Part 16: Stand Strong
You are invited to join with Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour this Sunday evening from 6.00 p.m. as we continue our series called “Love, Live, Fight” from the New Testament book of Ephesians.
The apostle Paul has been outlining the practical application of the Christian who is living life seeking to honour God in the church, in marriage, in the home and in the workplace. Now, in Ephesians 6:10-12 he brings this discussion to a close in a brief but memorable way with an unforgettable glimpse at the great ongoing battle between the powers of darkness and the kingdom of light.
The Christian life truly is a battleground.
In this Christian life, we must stand, withstand and oppose any assaults, attacks or onslaught against the gospel of Christ. Believers have the resources to stand our ground against the world system, the flesh that is our sinful nature or capability to fall into sin, and of course, Satan himself who desires our destruction. We shall put on our whole spiritual Armour of God and live a life victorious through the blood of Jesus Christ.
