God’s Perfection in Imperfection – Part 4: Progress
You are invited to join with Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour this Sunday evening from 6.00 p.m. as we continue our series called “God’s Perfection in Imperfection” from the Old Testament book of Esther.
As we’ve been studying the book of Esther we have taken note that Mordecai and Esther are not perfect – only Jesus is perfect. But, what we will notice through the book is that they’re making progress and changing. Mordecai’s faith is activated in mourning and weeping. He trusts that God is always with his people and that God is in control. Esther’s faith is activated in the face of opposition, and possible death as only she can serve as the mediator to reconcile Xerxes and her people. In this manner, she functions as a picture of Jesus who is the one mediator between God and men.
For Christians, Jesus has made it possible for reconciliation with God and for transformation in our lives!
Come along on Sunday evening the 4th of November from 6 p.m. for worship and study in God’s word as we dig into this book and find out more!
