Be a part of the pre Sunday prayer team in Sunday school classroom #1 from 9:30 -9:55am. Today we celebrate communion and remember what our saviour Jesus Christ did for each of us! We still have room for more men both as greeters and in our pre service prayer meeting.
From the Pastor’s Desk – It’s Saturday evening, the night before our Sunday services. In my study and finalising my notes for tomorrow. Praying over and over that what I have is what the Lord is leading us to know from the text we find ourselves in. It’s been just shy of 40 years of Saturday nights just like this one. But Saturday the 5th May 2019 is so vastly different from those before. Australian Wallaby champion Israel Folau is under trial for placing a portion of the Bible on his twitter account. Rockets are landing in Israel from Gaza. Australia is heading into an election where the Labour party will fund abortions. Thirty plus youth have a prearranged brawl in our own shopping centre during the day. Terrorism continually raises it head in every country. Anti Semitism is growing at an alarming rate as Israel traffic and streets come to a halt just 2 days ago to remember the death of 6 million Jews during the holocaust. What in the world is happening? One thing has not changed however – God’s Word is still the same yesterday, today and forever. And Jesus return is closer now than it’s ever been in the history of our planet! Today, love God with all your heart! Tomorrow be in church with His people! Jesus is coming soon!
