Diary notes – Welcome this day as we gather to worship Jesus Christ our Lord. Today we celebrate communion together and remember what Jesus has done for each of us. As we start our turn towards spring weatherwise we will be planning another special “Andrew Sunday” service. Where you invite someone to church where they will receive a small pack including a bible purchased by you for them with a message of hope from you inside. We will have a meal after the service in which your guest/s will be invited to join you for lunch in the church grounds. Start praying who you could invite for this special day! Don’t forget our Father’s Day service is 1st September in which we celebrate the ministry of godly fathers. Book that day in your calendar to invite your grandfather and dad for that Sunday.
From the Pastor’s Desk
Our emphasis here at CCSH has always been on evangelism, preaching the gospel to those who are lost. Last Wednesday night I shared with the Calvary men the ministry of the disciple Andrew and how he was instrumental in bring many to meet Jesus His Lord and Saviour. The Wednesday night prayer team then prayed for our church to be courageous and wise in sharing God’s good news about Jesus Christ in our everyday business. I want to encourage you to share with at least one person a day the love you have with your Lord Jesus Christ. We share so easily with others a movie we have seen, the great surf we just had, the new shoes we just bought, or the person we just met. Let each of us do the same with the one who loves us the most and who constantly watches over us and listens to us. He is our Lord Jesus Christ and we have so much to tell others about what He has done and is doing in each of our lives. Start today! Let’s witness about the one who died for us, His name is Jesus and He is our Saviour and Lord.
