Sunday 10:00 am – Matthew 27: 1-26 – “Free at Last”
Pilate has Jesus brought before him for judgment. No matter what Pilate does, he cannot get around making a decision about what to do with Jesus. So too humanity, there is no neutral ground when Jesus stands before us awaiting our decision on what we each will do with Him!
Sunday 6:00 pm Galatians: Gospel of Grace Part 9 – “Heart”
As followers of Jesus, we are all ministers to others of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Therefore, as ministers, what are our hearts to look like? What is our service to look like? In Galatians Ch 4, Paul outlines how he served and ministered to the church in Galatia. This text will help us to learn of the right attitude that is to exist in our service of others.

If I was to ask you what is your favourite Bible verse, what would your answer be? For many it would be John 3:16, or Romans 3:23 or maybe Isaiah 55:10-11. Each of those I love as well but one verse I cherish is from  Exo 33:11 So the LORD spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend. And he would return to the camp, but his servant Joshua the son of Nun, a young man, did not depart from the tabernacle. This verse connects powerfully with me because when I was not a Christian loneliness was an ache that maintained a constant pain within the deepest part of my soul. But when Helen and I became Christians together on a Tuesday evening, that loneliness left forever! That’s why I love the Bible, to be in prayer and being in church. God is always with me. Heaven will be even better as I will be in God’s presence and my eyes will look upon Him and I can sit at His feet forever. I know why Joshua did not leave the tabernacle – he too like me longed to be in intimate companionship with His God and not ever leave it!
