Galatians: Gospel of Grace Part 6 – Faith
Have you ever encountered someone who considers themselves to be right with God based purely on their heritage: the country in which they live, the ancestors they have come from, or the people that they know?
However, the Bible indicates that it is by grace, through faith, that salvation is obtained, and that it is not obtained through works of any kind.
For the Galatian believers, having begun in faith, they were now being influenced to cling onto other things in their attempt to draw near to God. Paul writes to correct this and to point out that even Abraham obtained his right standing with God due to God’s grace, and not Abraham’s works.
Galatians 3:1-14 reminds us of the importance of faith!
See you this Sunday the 3rd of November from 6 p.m. for worship and this study from Galatians 3.
