This Week at Calvary – Calvary Women’s Bible study this week here at the chapel. Ladies you still can gather this week here at Calvary. The Wednesday evening prayer meeting is also open for us for the church of Jesus Christ to pray. The Covid 19 situation is a time for a call to prayer – see you Wednesday here at the chapel at 7:00 pm as we intercede for our church, our community and our nation. All Sunday church services will be live streamed via Facebook. If you are not sure how all this works log onto our webpage for the simple instructions how you can keep up with all the teaching here at CCSH. We will be limiting numbers in each Sunday school class and the creche today to meet the govt. directive. With the spacing of chairs in the sanctuary, families can gather together, but we must keep the required spacing from other brothers and sisters in Christ at this time. Your assistance to our Ushers and Sunday school teachers will be a much-needed blessing to achieve this.
From the Pastor’s Desk – It’s been a most difficult week this last week as change after change has been flowing down that impacts on the church physically gathering as the body of Christ. It has been draining to continue to address the moving goal posts and making adjustments. Passages of scripture such as Hebrews 10:25, compel us together. But we have a health situation that has directed us to adjust gathering as a whole church. It is important we deal with Covid 19 both governmentally and scripturally. The steps we have taken here at CCSH so far meet these changes. Helen and I have a deep spiritual concern for the church during this time. We deal with such a situation both biblically and prayerfully! Ephesians 6:12, is at the forefront of this situation. Consolidate your “family altar” at this time. Ensure that you gather around God’s Word as a family, stay tuned to the live streaming services if you are unable to attend fellowship here at CCSH. This Covid 19 situation will come to an end! It is critical that your walk with God does not fall away. Our prayer is that you will grow even closer to the Lord, and your prayer life grows in power and strength as you face this storm. Bless you in Jesus name!
Grace Offering CCSH gives you the opportunity for your grace offering to be dropped in the container at the left side of the sanctuary – CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089 for those who wish to give electronically. Luke 6:38 Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap.
2 Cor 9:6 Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. 7 You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” 8 And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others
