Corona Virus update – Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour
Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update from Pastor Keith –
To our Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour Church family,
It’s never too early to take the right steps. While we as a church family have always cared about one another’s spiritual health, we’re concerned about one another’s physical health as well—especially with the news surrounding coronavirus (COVID-19).
Given the recent events and their ongoing escalation, we are intent on being as proactive as possible to create safe and clean environments for us to worship in.
As we continue to gather for weekly corporate worship, we want you to be confident that we are taking the necessary steps to prevent the spread of germs.
All common areas are regularly cleaned and disinfected, especially our Calvary Kids spaces, using commercial grade cleaners to dust and disinfect handles, toilet areas, tables, chairs, etc.
We will look to increase the amount of facial tissues and hand sanitizers in the facility.
Here’s how you can assist us in maintaining a vigilant watch on our church hygiene:
Greet one another with a smile and a simple “welcome.”
Wash your hands with soap and water for at least twenty seconds, about how long it takes to sing the ABCs.
Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer (at least 60 percent alcohol) whenever soap and water are not available.
Limit contact with those who are sick.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
If you or your children are exhibiting any flu like symptoms, please remain home and watch our services that are loaded regularly on our church webpage – ccsh.com.au
Please be understanding and supportive when others need to stay home.
We also encourage you to keep a prayer vigil for the health of the church, and that God would lead researchers to find a treatment for the virus as soon as possible.
In His grace,
Pastor Keith
