HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY TODAY TO ALL THE MUMS TODAY!
This Week at Calvary
Happy “Mothers Day” to all the mums today! We pray God grant you a day of joy and peace because of His blessing upon your life. There will be no evening service live streamed tonight to allow all the visitation to occur due to Mother’s Day. Next Sunday evening, the 17th May, Pastor Israel will be back teaching at 6:00pm from the book of Joshua! Join us again this Wednesday as we take time to pray and continue our study through 1 Peter. With the Premier Mr McGowan, about to make some major decisions on the Covid 19 situation today, we as a church will continue to adapt to what we will be allowed to change to in regard to parameters in relation to our physical gathering once again. We will keep you posted via our blog and webpage of the changes and their impact here on CCSH.
From the Pastor’s Desk –
We pray for you to have a blessed Mother’s Day today, whilst we are limited in how we can gather on such a day.. It’s amazing that something like Mother’s Day can take on what many see as a more important focus, due to our present pandemic. As I step back from all the events occurring currently around the world, I sense a seismic shift coming in areas of which this pandemic has made massive inroads into that which would have been previously out of bounds. The world political system, particularly in Europe and the United States is ready to implode with surely massive ramifications. The world economic fallout from Covid 19 has seen the shunning of cash in our society which would appear to be a snapshot and window into future biblical events. How will the church come out on the other side of the pandemic – what will it look like? Will it be stronger? Will it be more liberal? We wait to see but this is definitely NOT a time to be anxious or fearful but instead as believers, a time to be excited, filled with anticipation and hope. For we know that day by day, we are growing ever closer to Jesus Christ’s return for His Church! Hallelujah! As the Apostle John wrote in what is the last prayer recorded in the Bible, what a beautiful day to repeat those words again this Mother’s Day 2020. – Rev 22:20
He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
