What’s Happening – Calvary Women, be out for this Tuesday morning’s Bible study, the last one before the school holiday break. Children are NOT going straight to their Sunday school room as from this morning, with the changes in the govt. Covid 19 restrictions, but we revert back to our normal times, whereby after the second worship song, they will be dismissed to their classes. We want to continue to encourage you, particularly the men, to be part of the pre-service prayer meeting in classroom #1. Tonight, Pastor Israel will be teaching from the book of Joshua with the service starting at 6:00pm. Next week we will be celebrating communion together. Want to serve God here at CCSH – fill in a Connection Card and place it in our offering container for the blessing of serving. This Wednesday we begin a new series prior to prayer in 2 Peter in which Peter details the events of the Last Days prior to Christ’s return.
From the Pastor’s Desk –
Choose this day whom you will serve – Josh 24:15 – Repeatedly in the Bible, both nations and individuals had to make decisions affecting their futures – and so do we. There are time we make wrong choices and we suffer the consequences as a result. When we face decisions, we need to remember that God has not left us without help or that God is uninterested. God loves us, and He wants what is best for us and he has a perfect path for each of us. Even when our way seems unclear, God gives us light and He gives us His Word, the Bible – and many of our decisions would be much easier if we only knew its moral and spiritual principles. God also gives us wisdom to understand our situations, and He gives us the Holy Spirit to guide us and to pray about the decisions we are looking to make. Never make a decision without committing it to God and seeking His will on the matter. He promises to guide you – and He will!

Proverbs 3: Honor the LORD with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase; 10 So your barns will be filled with plenty And your vats will overflow with new wine. 7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work
