Put the date in your diary for these select studies. If you had signed up to be part of the CCSH drama and choir groups, please see Pastor Keith directly after the morning service for a quick catch up. Be encouraged to be involved in the preservice prayer meeting in classroom #1 especially if you are serving this Sunday to be sure to lay a foundation of prayer as you minister to the body of Christ here today. Our desire for everyone calling CCSH their home church to be serving in some capacity here so that each can be a blessing to others. Sign up to serve by filling in a Connection Card and placing it in the offering container and be in prayer.
From the Pastor’s Desk –
Following on from today’s message in Hebrews, I really want to encourage each of you to bring your Bibles and notebooks to every service here at CCSH. I believe every time the Word is taught that God speaks to us through His Word and it’s important for us to note down what God is saying to us and meditate on it each day of the week following. God desires us to be wise and not fools, doers and not hearers only. So we can be putting into practice God’s Word and applying it in our everyday lives. If it’s important its definitely worth writing down. In addition, it’s a reminder for us, when the enemy attacks us with his lies, that we can go back to our notes on the truth and promises God has spoken to us in order not to be tempted by the evil one and stand firm on the word of God which is our sword in spiritual battle. Act 17:11 These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.
Grace Offering
We have an offering container at the left rear of the chapel for your grace-giving or you can give electronically via the following information. CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089. Proverbs 3: Honor the LORD with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase; 10 So your barns will be filled with plenty And your vats will overflow with new wine. 7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work
