Revelation: Compromise & Deceit
To become a Christian is an amazing, wonderful act of grace. God’s work in redeeming a life out of the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of His glorious light is revolutionary!
But, the enemy, Satan, is determined to detract from this as much as possible. So, he seeks to deceive and destroy the people of God wherever, whenever, and however possible.
In the book of Revelation, Jesus addresses seven churches revealing His heart towards them. This Sunday evening, we will study in Rev 2:12-29 the words that Jesus spoke to the churches in Pergamos and Thyatira. These were churches that Satan was seeking to deceive and to compromise. Jesus provides them with the words and action needed to overcome.
