This year we will be having a special Thanksgiving service – Sunday November 29. From the Pastor’s Desk
With great joy this week we celebrated the birth of a new baby granddaughter – little Dorothy. As the years grow, I am more and more amazed at the glory, power, majesty and wonder of God. For He has created a little life with her own little personality, unique fingerprint, smile and mannerisms. This miracle staggers me with its amazing complexity and delicateness. Our world has sadly turned its back on the very God who creates us in His own image. The purpose for our creation is to give Him glory and to enjoy His love and fellowship for eternity. I want to urge you even more to be the person God designed and created you to be. But the more you live for yourself and shut God out of your life, the less and less you will find the joy of being and knowing that you are created in His image. If you once a person of prayer but have let that pass, now is the time to be serious again in your intimacy with God. If you once were active in serving Him but now you are too busy, now is the time to lay aside those things that are actually weighing you down. For once we know and live truly live our lives for the glory of God, it is then we fully discover the meaning of peace, joy and the reason for our being!

The purpose of tithing is to teach you always to put God first in your lives.
