This week was Holocaust Remembrance Day. Six million Jews were murdered in concentration/death camps in WW2. Of that 6 million, 1.5 million were children and infants. The reality of spiritual conflict has no greater example except that the crucifixion of our Saviour Jesus Christ. Let us always pray for the people of Israel, God’s chosen people!

From the Pastors Desk
We live in a world that is forever changing and seemingly spiralling ‘out of control’. Sadly, many people live in constant fear and are overwhelmed with anxiety every day they wake. As Christians, Helen and my hearts break at the ever-increasing human wreckage that is constantly before our eyes. Knowing all this however, there has never been a greater time or opportunity to share the love of Jesus Christ and His precious gospel to people we come in contact with that God has placed in our path. The sin of selfishness is something we must all be aware of and not be the ‘silent or unseen’ witness of the gospel, and our faith and love of our saviour Jesus Christ. I encourage you, commencing this week to share the gospel, that is the Word of God, John 3:16, with someone that you meet, Whether an old acquaintance or a complete random stranger. Break the chains of the fear of rejection and be a witness of Jesus Christ, visibly and audibly. This is what God commands and desires us all to do. Then make it a weekly discipline that you must share the gospel of Jesus Christ with someone every week! You will be surprised what happens when you begin to fulfill the Great Commission! Mar 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Faithful Servants
We are seeking to overfill the servant positions here at CCSH. The church requires, Sunday school teachers, greeters, ushers, coffee servers, and cleaners. Our prayer is that we will be overwhelmed with saints, who in 2021 will faithfully love the saints here by serving them in some capacity. Be a blessing and sign up to serve!
Helen’s Heart –
1 Peter3: 1 Wives, likewise, be submissive to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives, 2 when they observe your chaste conduct accompanied by fear. 3 Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel— 4 rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. 5 For in this manner, in former times, the holy women who trusted in God also adorned themselves, being submissive to their own husbands, 6 as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord, whose daughters you are if you do good and are not afraid with any terror.

Prayer – Join us as we pray each Sunday morning at 9:30 am for the Lord’s blessing and protection over all our services and His ministries here at CCSH. In particular commit your time to pray here Wednesday’s at 7:00PM. Last Wednesday we experienced an enormous blessing here in our prayer night – we invite you to be part of it. Roster between yourselves if you have children. Release one to be out to pray – it will make such a difference!

Tithes and Offerings We don’t take an offering here at CCSH, but we do give a grace offering to our Lord of our first fruits. The offering box is at the back of the hall near the prayer box. 2 Cor 9:7..Every man according as he purposes in his heart, so let him give not grudgingly, or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.

Once the service has commenced, especially the teaching of the Word of God, we ask that you remain seated so as not to be distraction to others during this most important time. Should you need to leave your seat the ushers on your return will direct you to a seat at the rear of the church – thank you.
