Service Times – Schedule
Sunday 10:00 am – The Assurance of the Cross
Sunday 6:00 pm – 2 Thessalonians 2:
Wednesday 7:00pm – Prayer

As we celebrate Communion today as believers in Jesus Christ let us: 1. Remember Him – 1 Cor 11:24 It recalls His life (the bread), His death (the cup), His resurrection and living presence (the service itself). 2. It is a proclamation of His death – 1 Cor 11:26 The service itself states the Gospel message as well as the claims of the Gospel on the redeemed person. 3. It is assurance of Jesus Christ’s Second Coming – (Matthew 26:29; 1 Cor 11:26). 4. It is a time of fellowship with Christ and His people – 1 Cor 10:21.

From the Pastors Desk
No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly – Psalm 84:11. In the midst of the Covid pandemic and the sorrows and trouble, this life has many blessings and enjoyments that have come from the very hand of God for each of us still. Think of the blessings we so easily take for granted: our very life and existence itself; preservation from danger; every bit of health we enjoy; every hour of freedom; the ability to see; to hear, to speak, to think and imagine. All these come from the hand of God. Even our capacity to love is a gift from God. Most of all, God has given us the gift of His only begotten Son Jesus Christ. Knowing all this, what then should our response be? Thankful, gratitude and blessed – but how do we show our gratitude? By giving back to Him a part of what He has given us. What have you done this week to show your gratitude to God for all that He has done, and is doing, for you?

Faithful Servants
We are seeking to overfill the servant positions here at CCSH. The church requires, Sunday school teachers, greeters, ushers, coffee servers, and cleaners. Our prayer is that we will be overwhelmed with saints, who in 2021 will faithfully love the saints here by serving them in some capacity. Be a blessing and sign up to serve!

Helen’s Heart –
Can anything happen without the Lord’s permission? – Lam 3:37 Satan had to get God’s permission before he could touch Job’s family and possessions and even Job. When our Lord stood before Pilate, Pilate said, “Knowest thou not that I have power to crucify or release Thee?” The Lord replied, “Thou hast no power at all against Me except it were given from above.” John 19:10-11. When we allow God to deal with all the circumstances that come our way, then we have the knowledge and peace that whatever comes is from His loving hand.

Prayer – Join us as we pray each Sunday morning at 9:30 am for the Lord’s blessing and protection over all our services and His ministries here at CCSH. pray – your praying can make such a difference!

Tithes and Offerings we provide a grace offering container at the left rear of the chapel for your grace-giving or you can give electronically via the following information. CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089. Our greatest encouragement for giving is that it pleases the Lord. Let us remember that God was unsparing in His giving – Proverbs 3: 9 Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. 10 Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine.

Calvary Kids – Bible knowledge test:
– How many books in the Bible?
– Name the 3 young Hebrews teens who were thrown into a fiery furnace?
– Where is the word love first mentioned in the Bible?
– What is the “rapture of the church about?”
– What was the name of Isaac’s dad?
– Who were the first people to see Jesus when He was born, other than Joseph and Mary?

One another’s in the Bible
The New Testament is filled with many commands to us a Christians, that include the words…, ‘one another!’ As an individual or a married couple write down the ‘one another’s’ that you fulfill as part of the body of Christ here at CCSH. Examine the ‘one another’s’ that you have perhaps neglected or were unaware of and pray how they can become part of your ministry here at CCSH.

Once the service has commenced, especially the teaching of the Word of God, we ask that you remain seated so as not to be distraction to others during this most important time. Should you need to leave your seat the ushers on your return will direct you to a seat at the rear of the church – thank you.
