Jhn 20:16 Jesus said to her, “Mary!” She turned and said to Him, “Rabboni!” (which is to say, Teacher).
This time last year, we could not gather to celebrate Christ’s resurrection due to Covid 19. But 2021, we are back together as the body of Christ here at Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour. We often don’t realize how precious something is until it’s taken away from us. On the first Easter Sunday morning, Mary from Magdala arrives early in the morning to complete the embalming process that was cut short for Jesus body. She finds the tomb empty! Jesus sees Mary and her brokenness and calls her by name. She finally recognizes Jesus, falls to His feet and grabs Him in a bear hug. To say she missed Him would be an understatement! This morning, my prayer is that we can collectively comprehend how wonderful it is today to be together and celebrate Christ’s resurrection from the dead!
Jhn 20:17 Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’ ”
Helen’s Heart –
Your word O Lord, is eternal, it stands firm in the heavens – Psalm 1 Can I be certain of God’s forgiveness and His gift of eternal life? Is there really a heavenly home for me made by Jesus? The answer is yes! Because God has given His word. He has made a covenant with us. We didn’t do anything to earn it therefore we cannot do anything to lose it. God’s blessing, forgiveness and eternal life do not depend on what we feel. They depend on His word and that is a sure word.

Sunday School Graduation
Is your child ready to graduate from Sunday school? Are they ready to sit with you and learn with you in the main sanctuary? If so please see one of the pastors and we will arrange their graduation.
Once the service has commenced, especially the teaching of the Word of God, we ask that you remain seated so as not to be distraction to others during this most important time.
