This morning –What a privilege it is to gather with you and your family today as we worship the risen Christ together. Join us tonight for a special worship service – a time to thank, praise and glorify our Lord and Saviour. We encourage you to continue to pray for the people and nation of South Africa. We invite you to make the change from only attending CCSH to become part of the servant team here. Fill in a Connection Card available at the information desk, fill it out with your details and place in the offering container and we will be in contact with you. There are many ministries you can be involved in where you can be a blessing to the rest of the Church here at CCSH. Today take a moment to be listening ear to what God is doing in other members lives of the Body of Christ here at CCSH. Better still, pray one with the other and bring God’s blessing to you both. This year we will be involved again in Operation Christmas Child. A time to give and a time to reach out. Special DVD next week on Operation Christmas Child. Calvary Men – this Friday here at the chapel, a special panel and fellowship night. From 7:00 – 8:15PM. Don’t miss this time to be with other men of God.

From the Pastor’s Desk – The opening of the Tokyo Olympics’ was an event watched by millions world-wide. The last musical item of the opening ceremony was the song “Imagine” by the late John Lennon. This song has become the unofficial anthem of a world that desires peace, love, and harmony but without Jesus Christ! This is not a new phenomenon. Throughout the Bible, when man refuses the truth of God, he must create something else, an idol, to fill the void of the truth! Cain attempted it with a vegetable offering, Nimrod, the tower of Babel and Nebuchadnezzar with his own golden image. Yes man still desires peace, a world without war and harmony but stubbornly and rebelliously refuses to seek it through Jesus Christ the Saviour of the World and Prince of peace. Why is this so? Paul reveals the reason in his letter to Romans 1:21 -Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused. Today are you seeking things from the world that only Christ can give you? Jesus said, “I am the Way the Truth and the Life…..” King David wrote, “The Lord is my Shepherd I shall not want…” King Solomon tried everything the world offered but it could not deliver on what he was seeking. He came to the conclusion that only in the Lord what his soul desperately seeks can he find – Ecc 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments,For this is man’s all.

Grace giving –
We have a container at the left rear of the chapel for your grace-giving, or you can give electronically via the following information. CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089. Our greatest encouragement for giving is that it pleases the Lord. Let us remember that God was unsparing in His giving Proverbs 3:9 Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. 10 Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine..

Remember to pray for Calvary Chapel Nasinu – Fiji
