Wednesday 7:00pm – Calvary Chapel – Prayer – Luke 5 Overview

As per Govt. Covid Restrictions, we are to be wearing masks within the sanctuary today.

This morning – Welcome back today to CCSH, even though we are masked up, our hearts are open to share the love of Christ as we gather this morning to worship our Lord. It’s a beautiful Sunday to gather together and celebrate the blessing of Communion. Parents, the extent of your child’s participation in this blessed sacrament we leave in your hands. Let us remember Jesus today! 1Co 11:25 In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” Jesus said that the sign that would reveal that we truly are His followers – John 13:34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” Let us as individuals and as Christ’s Church put this commandment into action today!

From the Pastor’s Desk – What a day for one of the thieves who was crucified alongside Jesus. In the morning, he was justly crucified on a cross; by late that evening he was justly welcomed into paradise by Jesus! That thief made the greatest decision of his life at the most critical time in his life. The other thief, had the same opportunity, heard and saw the same things but instead at the end of his life, chose to refuse salvation that was right next to him. He sadly descended into eternal judgment. The Apostle Paul reminds each of us today, that salvation or judgment, is a decision each of us will and must make. Have you made yours? Where will you be once you have breathed your last breath? You can listen to the preaching of the cross and you can decide whether to accept it or reject it. There are no half measures. To refrain from deciding is a decision in itself. To delay is a decision. As you listen this morning or tonight to the Bible being preached, you will choose one path or the other! Paul said, The message of the cross is foolish to those who are headed for destruction! But we who are being saved know it is the very power of God. 1 Cor 1:18. If you are a true follower of Christ, as you hear the cross of Christ preached, as you listen to the Gospel, you will sense the very power of God in your life from it. But, if you are not a follower of Christ, if you have rejected the Gospel, the preaching of the cross to your ears will achieve nothing but only result in destruction.
Helen’s Heart  Lord – teach us to pray Luke 11:1 – Prayer – the act of coming into God’s presence unhindered. We talk to Him and let Him speak to us. You may not understand the mystery of prayer but learn the habit of prayer. Press in for God’s strength no matter how sad your state is. The Lord will teach you how to pray. This obedience brings your body in submission to your soul that the life of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh – 2 Cor 4:11

Grace giving – We have a container at the left rear of the chapel for your grace-giving, or you can give electronically via the following information. CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089. Our greatest encouragement for giving is that it pleases the Lord. Let us remember that God was unsparing in His giving – Proverbs 3:9 Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. 10 Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine..

Early at Church? – Are you an early church arriver? You can be a blessing if you are at church usually earlier than most. You can join us for prayer and intercede for all those who will be serving here at CCSH that day. Or you can assist setting up the children’s areas. Or are you a church stayer? You are one of the last always to leave. You can serve by helping clean, prepare the sanctuary for the evening service. Have all the waste containers emptied and ready for the evening. There are many ways you can be a blessing! Start next Sunday and serve the Lord….here at CCSH. See Thomas Woodage for further information.
