Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

When a problem arises in your life what do you do?

Do you worry? Most people do. But does worrying solve your problem? No, it does not. Then why worry if it does not solve the problem?

The Bible’s story about Hezekiah gives us an idea for problem solving: 2 Kings 19: 14 And Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers, and read it; and Hezekiah went up to the house of the LORD, and spread it before the LORD. 15 Then Hezekiah prayed before the LORD, and said: “O LORD God of Israel, the One who dwells between the cherubim, You are God, You alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth.

Instead of turning to God as our first resource, we often turn to Him as the last resort!

This week, today, follow Hezekiah’s example. Turn to God first with your problems, for only He is capable of handling them in a way that will be in your best interest – and according to His perfect will!
