Friday 6:30 pm – Calvary Chapel Youth – seeing young lives grow in God!

This morning –. Thank you for joining us here at Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour today as we worship God and study His Word together. If you are visiting, we welcome you and pray God’s blessing be with you. Don’t forget – Calvary Youth meet this Friday and we encourage our young saints to be a part of this precious gathering of like-minded young men and women of God. See either Jay, Noah, or Christiaan for more information. Our Special Father’s Day service – Sunday the 5th of September – so be praying for dads, grandads, and stepdads you can invite to the day we celebrate the blessing of fathers. Final call – We are looking for someone special who loves children and desires to serve Christ to assist in caring after our little one’s every second Tuesday morning freeing the mums to have a time of prayer and Bible study – reliability is required. See Helen Carmody if God is calling you to this precious ministry for further information. Next Young Calvary Adults gathering – mark it in your diary – Saturday September 11. Teaching the Bible is a privilege and a massive responsibility. Teaching God’s Word to Children an even greater honour. We require additional Sunday school teachers to fill this role. Please see Helen Carmody and be part of a ministry that helps young boys and girls become men and women of God!

From the Pastor’s DeskCol 1:3 We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you.  Between Sundays, our midweek Bible study, how connected are you to the Church that God has placed you? Do you pray for those in the Church, perhaps contact someone to encourage them or provide a need to a member or family in the Church here at CCSH?. Everyone has a mobile phone, follows Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat or Instagram. But we know in reality, we are more disconnected today than we have ever been, in spite of our electronic devices. Families no longer eat together; people go out and don’t talk with one another because they are on their phones. Kids are buried in their devices playing games or ears filled with air buds! How connected is the Church of today? May I encourage you with Paul’s Words to give time to praying for Christ’s Church, the families, children, and individuals that make up His blessed body. To also seek God as to how you can be a blessing to someone for whom Christ died. There are many ways you can do this between each Sunday. God would have us be a fellowship that does not neglect others but continually seeks to bless others. Romans 12:10 – Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. I look forward to seeing Christ’s Church grow in its love one for another. As we do this, we will see God’s blessing from you and to you because of it! Finally, we need to increase our roster of godly Sunday school teachers with people who have a passion to teach our youngest saints. Both Helen and I have had the privilege and opportunity to teach Sunday school for many years as a young Christians. If you are serious about studying and teaching God’s Word this is the greatest foundation and opportunity to begin. But to do so one must be faithful, reliable, teachable, loving and passionate for Christ’s kingdom. Do you have those qualities – if so, take a step forward and begin a most remarkable ministry!

Grace Giving – We have a container at the left rear of the chapel for your grace-giving, or you can give electronically via the following information. CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089. Our greatest encouragement for giving is that it pleases the Lord. Let us remember that God was unsparing in His giving Proverbs 3:9 Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. 10 Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine..
