We also invite you to join our preservice prayer team in the main Sunday school classroom prior to service beginning. Are you gifted with computers, keen to serve the Lord, please see Pastor Marlon Le Chat and become part of our growing CCSH Media Team? This is a growing and important ministry to so many throughout Australia and other parts of the world. Special Father’s Day service – Sunday the 5th of September. Be praying for dads, grandads, and stepdads you can invite to the day we celebrate the blessing of fathers. We are looking for a believer who loves children and desires to serve Christ to assist in caring after our little one’s on every second Tuesday morning freeing the mums to have a time of prayer and Bible study. See Helen Carmody if God is calling you to this precious ministry for further information. Next Young Calvary Adults gathering – mark it in your diary – Saturday September 11.

From the Pastor’s Desk – On Friday, I submitted a letter of complaint to the West Australian Football Commission concerning the Auskick program here in Secret Harbour. My complaint is because Auskick is planning to change all game days in 2022 to Sundays. Our nation is suffering an increase in marriage and family breakdown, growing mental health issues and tragic numbers of teen suicide. These collectively are causing far more distress and harm by far than the Covid Pandemic could ever do. Yet we as a nation continue to treat the day in which Christians have attended Church since Christ rose from the dead that first Easter Sunday, as ‘fair game for anything and everything. The human wreckage we witness in our print, and electronic media continues to increase. The world throws its hands in the air, distributes more money, gathers for more talkfests and yet we nationally crumble because our homes are void of Christ. I put the issue to you as well, parents. What is your family’s emphasis on gathering together unto Christ on any given Sunday? People slot 90 minutes in for God and wonder why their marriage fails; their kids have no respect for them, issues of immorality and selfishness flood their homes. Our world, our nation, is living on the edge of the next significant prophetic event in Bible prophecy. The rapture of the Church before the Great Tribulation. The Church is the living organism created and headed by Christ Himself, where all believers are gifted to be a vital piece of this magnificent structure. Let us shine the light to the world; let us be the salt that halts decay. Let us be an example to a lost world each time we gather!

Grace giving –
We have a container at the left rear of the chapel for your grace-giving, or you can give electronically via the following information. CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089. Our greatest encouragement for giving is that it pleases the Lord. Let us remember that God was unsparing in His giving Proverbs 3:9 Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. 10 Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine..
