Pastor Keith   -

Mat 7:7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

Children continually go to their parents and ask for things. They would not be normal if they did not boldly make their needs known. God said to His children, Heb 4:16, “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”

God is keenly aware that we are dependent upon Him for life’s necessities. It was for that reason that Jesus said, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”

Today, this week, what things have been troubling you? Is your heart burdened because of some problem that threatens to overwhelm you? Or are you filled with anxiety and worry, wondering what is going to happen next?

As a child of God through faith in Jesus Christ, knowing that God loves you and is able to help you. Don’t carry your burden any longer, but bring it “boldly to the throne of grace” – and leave it there!
