Sunday 10:00 am –Luke Chapter 12; “The Cure of Fear!”
Sunday 6:00 pm – The Book of 1 Timothy – Pastor Marlon
Wednesday 7:00pm – Calvary Chapel – Prayer Meeting– Luke 12 Overview

This Week at CCSH – Thank you for being here with us this morning as we worship Jesus Christ our Saviour! You can receive prayer and counsel directly after the service with our pastors at the front of the sanctuary. If you do not know Christ and want to become a Christian, please see one of our pastors for assistance. Our ushers can assist in this matter also. If you are a Christian, we encourage you to join us for prayer prior to this morning’s service in classroom #1 and on Wednesday evening here at the chapel. The Calvary Women had an amazing Q & A night on Friday looking at the ‘hot button’ issues of the day and seeing what the Bible says on the matters. Ladies be sure to keep up with all the opportunities to grow together in God with the other women here at CCSH. Keep up to date with Pastor Keith’s – daily devotions by connecting to our webpage and following the links. You can also track with us if you are away on school holidays via our live streaming service! Please keep our Church extensions as a matter of prayer – we are aiming to add on at least two classrooms come large fellowship hall.

From the Pastor’s Desk How many times do we wonder at God’s direction in our lives as we seek to serve Him. Would it be fair to say that most of us, or all of us, at some time think that God has made a mistake with what is happening in our lives? Such thoughts usually arise from our impatience, or our thinking that we know better than God what He should be doing. Take the Apostle John, he is the only disciple not martyred for his faith in Christ. He died a natural death. But how do you think John felt when he, the Apostle whom Jesus loved, is exiled to a remote island by the name of Patmos? One could surmise that John must have thought that this was the end of his ministry. After all, how is he going to preach the Gospel when there is no one around? What was God doing? Had God made a mistake. Take a deep breath and thank the Lord if you are travelling at this moment a path of impatience, a road where you think God has sent you down a dead end. For on that isolated island of Patmos, God brought John a vision of the world’s future events – it was as if John was placed into a time machine. John wrote down all these amazing things he saw that we today are seeing occur right before our own eyes as John wrote the Book of Revelation. Now you and I, because of God’s leading John’s life so beautifully and planned, are able to have in our hands the blueprint for the future of the very planet we live on. The Book of Revelation and the Gospel of John are the first two books of the Bible I read completely when I first became a Christian. They still are my favourites today. The next time you think God has you off course, forgotten you, made a mistake, remember John as he alone sat on the Island of Patmos and God revealed to him the future! Trust God to always lead you in the paths of righteousness, to still waters, and eventually into the house of the Lord!

Grace Giving – We have a container at the left rear of the chapel for your grace-giving, or you can give electronically via the following information. CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089. Our greatest encouragement for giving is that it pleases the Lord. Let us worship Him as we give and remember that God was unsparing in His giving Proverbs 11: There is one who scatters, yet increases more; And there is one who withholds more than is right,
But it leads to poverty. 25 The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself.

“Learn that urgency in prayer does not so much consist in vehement pleading, as in vehement believing. He that believes most the love and power of Jesus will obtain the most in prayer.”
Robert Murray M’Cheyne

Once the service has commenced, we ask that you please limit moving or having to leave your seats- the ushers will assist you, should you need to leave your seat, to return to a one located to the rear of the sanctuary so as to not distract others – thank you for your assistance in this matter.
