Pastor Keith   -

When the children of God gather in Church to worship it is an exclamation to the world that Christ has risen!

When a sinner saved by the blood of Jesus Christ, meets with others who have received God’s forgiveness, there can only be praise and worship of He who is worthy.

I love seeing people arrive early for Church just eager to be with the body of Christ, to be able to be part of a miraculous gathering of once lost souls, who have recognized the sacrifice Jesus has made for them, the immense debt He has paid for them, and the wondrous anticipation that He is coming back for them.

A person who has been forgiven by God for all their sins needs no prompting to be in Church – it’s now what they desire to do.

As the world grows stranger, more divisive, further away from God, the Church itself is being filled with those genuinely saved by Christ’s death. The refinement continues, the purifying grows stronger with each battle, and the Church of Jesus Christ continues to grow as the Lord adds to His Church.

Jesus Christ is coming soon – and Christ is preparing His Church for the rapture.

Peter’s words mean more and more as each day passes!

2 Peter 3: 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. 11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
