Sunday 10:00 am – Matthew 27:45 – 50 “The Cure of Loneliness -the Cross!”
Sunday 6:00 pm – The Book of Ruth – Pastor Israel
Wednesday 7:00pm – Calvary Chapel – Prayer Meeting– Luke 13 Overview

This Week at CCSH – Thank you for joining with us this morning as we worship our Lord Jesus Christ. This morning we gather around the Lord’s Table to give thanks and remember what Christ did for us so that we could be forgiven and reconciled back to God. Parents, we leave the extent of your child’s participation in Holy Communion with you, with the understanding that it is a sacrament to be taken by those who have received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. Our live streaming service was a great help during Covid lockdown and since then we continue to use it for those away from Church, overseas contacts and the sick. Therefore, we need a greater number of servants willing to be part of the Media Team here at CCSH. Please see Pastor Marlon to be part of this critical ministry to those who are unable to be with us physically and join our live streaming servant team. “My House shall be a House of Prayer…” Jesus said. Therefore, join us this morning before Church to pray! Make Wednesday night a night you give to pray for others – Join us Wednesday night as the saints gather to pray and intercede for a crumbling world and a Church that needs the outpouring of God’s Holy Spirit to empower it.
Helen’s Heart – “A Mother’s Gift” – There is nothing so good as when we peek into our children’s rooms at the end of a busy day of parenting – seeing their beauty, calm, and peace as they sleep. After all the washing, cleaning, grocery shopping, changing diapers, raising, and instilling values into our family – it is the joy of a job well done. What a priceless gift we give our children in mothering. Proverbs 31: Pro 31:27,39. She watches over the ways of her household…Her husband says “Many have done well, But you excel them all.”
From the Pastor’s Desk More and more Australian homes are sadly becoming single parent situations. The mother of Ishmael, Hagar, was a single parent, and she like many today, almost gave in to despair. Perhaps you find yourself now in this situation, or you may certainly know of someone who “is forced to flee into the desert”, with their family. Hagar ran out of water and felt the end had come for her and her son. But God had not abandoned her, and we read that He helped her see a well of water He had provided. It had been there all along, but Hagar saw it with God’s help. Being a single parent is very difficult. Don’t give in to despair or self-pity, but look to Jesus Christ every day for the hope and strength you need! God opened (Hagar’s) eyes and she saw a well of water….(and) God was with the boy as he grew up. Genesis 21:19-20.

Grace Giving – We have a container at the left rear of the chapel for your grace-giving, or you can give electronically via the following information. CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089. Our greatest encouragement for giving is that it pleases the Lord. Let us worship Him as we give and remember that God was unsparing in His giving Proverbs 11: There is one who scatters, yet increases more; And there is one who withholds more than is right,
But it leads to poverty. 25 The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself.

There is nothing a natural man hates more than prayer.
Robert Murray M’Cheyne

Once the service has commenced, we ask that you please limit moving or having to leave your seats- the ushers will assist you, should you need to leave your seat, to return to a one located to the rear of the sanctuary so as to not distract others – thank you for your assistance in this matter.

Calvary Chapel Nasinu – Fiji

Mat 27:46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”
