Wednesday 7:00pm – Calvary Chapel – Prayer Meeting– Luke 16 Overview

This Week at CCSH – We welcome you today in joining us to worship our risen Saviour Jesus Christ. We have blessed baby dedications over the next 2 weeks starting today. Let us keep the parents and the little ones in our prayers as they take this beautiful step in faith unto the Lord. Some of our youngest saints are giving great service here at CCSH filling many of the ministry servant positions we have available. Their desire, passion, and dedication to serve is an example to us all. We encourage each member of CCSH to be in ministry here in some capacity. See any of the Pastors to learn how you can be part of this team and serve alongside our youngest saints. It’s just 75 days until our Christmas Eve service for 2021. Stay connected – with Pastor Keith’s daily devotions – have them sent straight to your mobile, laptop – follow the links on ccsh.com.au. Men – Friday evening – 22nd October – 6:30 pm, Calvary Men’s Fellowship. Testimonies at the chapel and then we carpool out to eat at the “Grill’d” located in Mandurah! See Pastor Nathanael for details

Helen’s Heart – This is eternal life that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent – John 17:3 This is our highest calling, our fullest joy. This is why we have been created not just to learn about God nor to know about God – but to know God. We were made to fellowship with Him, to walk with Him, to worship Him. What an awesome privilege we have been given to not only know God but to pass this on to our children by example and prayer. We need to pray for our children that they will know Him fully truly and completely.

From the Pastor’s Desk As a pastor, ministering in these Last Days prior to Christ’s return for His Church, the Lord has gripped my heart even more with the passion to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As I read the Scriptures in my own devotion, as I study them in preparation of preaching, I continue to see greater clarity of what Christ demands and commands us as His followers in these times. Our world is changing so rapidly around us. Nothing is guaranteed, the definition of truth, of family and of marriage has been torn down. Our world seems to be becoming more legislative, governments with greater control due to the pandemic and yet at the same time the masses moving to anarchy. It is at such times that the surety, the solidness, the rock steady truthfulness of the Bible, God’s Word, is such a daily blessing for us to look to and know God’s heart and love for us. If you are not already, I would implore you as a family, as followers of Christ to at least begin and end each day with your eyes in the Word and your heart in Heaven. For times will grow increasingly difficult and only those who ‘have been with Jesus’ will endure. 16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 17 God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work. 2 Tim 3:16

Grace Giving – We have a container at the left rear of the chapel for your grace-giving, or you can give electronically via the following information. CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089. Our greatest encouragement for giving is that it pleases the Lord. Let us worship Him as we give and remember that God was unsparing in His giving Proverbs 11: There is one who scatters, yet increases more; And there is one who withholds more than is right, But it leads to poverty. 25 The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself.

“The Bible will keep you from sin and sin will keep you from the Bible….”
Once the service has commenced, we ask that you please limit moving or having to leave your seats- the ushers will assist you, should you need to leave your seat, to return to a one located to the rear of the sanctuary to not distract others – thank you for your assistance in this matter.
