Daily devotion – Flee….!
We fight on two basic battle fronts as Christians. Sin and Satan.
People often look to ‘manage’ their struggles when one of the simplest, most effective, and great battle strategies over sin is to flee from it!
Joseph, when he was under the attack of Potiphar’s wife seeking to seduce him, simply took off running from her. We do not negotiate with sin, nor seek to come to some compromise with it.
The Apostle Paul said to a young Pastor by the name of Timothy, 2Ti 2:22 Flee also youthful lusts…
So, the first step one needs to take to gain victory over sin is to flee from whatever is tempting you. Don’t play with it, toy with it in your mind; get as far from it as possible.
With the invention of the internet, whilst opening the door to a world of knowledge, it has also opened ‘Pandora’s Box’ with the ability to access everything and anything. Many people have succumbed to a new Sodom and Gomorrah by sitting at their laptop or tablet whilst in their home.
I have known of people who had to change jobs to keep away from something (or someone) that was tempting them to do wrong!
But it was the only way to win.

Remember the wages of sin is death – it will kill you and all things good if you allow it to rule over your life.
