We each often try to understand the amazing world we live in and this is one of the very things that sets us apart from the animal kingdom.
Some mysteries have been fathomed by science. Others still remain untapped. Some will always puzzle us.
All of the collective wisdom of the ages is only a scratch on the surface of mankind’s search for the knowledge of the universe.
We are unable to comprehend fully the mysteries of God’s creation but that still does not cast any shadow or doubt on the Christian faith. In fact the opposite is true, it only enhances our belief. We do not understand the intricate patterns of the stars on their courses, but we know that He who created them does!
Just as surely as He guides their path, so too He is charting a safe course for each of our lives.
The next time you look into the heavens at night, remember the words of the psalmist – “The Heavens declare the glory of God!” – Psalm 19:1
