This Week at CCSH – This morning we celebrate Communion together as the Body of Christ here at CCSH. In addition, directly after this morning’s service you are invited to join us for lunch here on the Church grounds. CCSH – Young Adults, save the following date – 27th November, 6:30pm Saturday – a special “Friendsgiving” gathering here at the Chapel. We encourage you to join our 24/7 Prayer Team on your mobile. This prayer line meets every emergency in our fellowship at CCSH with urgent prayer. Be part of this blessed team and be on hand to pray – see Marty Le Chat for details how to be involved. Parents, with the Communion service this morning we leave it to your discretion as to the extent of participation by your children in this important sacrament. It’s just 48 days until Christmas – make preparations by praying for those you will be inviting to our special Christmas Eve service. You can follow Pastor Keith on his daily devotions, you can keep up with all CCSH teaching by connecting to our web page ccsh.com.au and join with us when away via our live-streaming service. Want to serve Christ here at CCSH – fill in a Connection Card which are available at the information desk and place it in the offering container. There are always ministries available where you can worship Christ by serving Him and His body. If you would like to become a Christian today, please see one of the ushers who will guide you to a person who will pray with you and explain the steps in the Bible. If you would like counsel or prayer for any matter, the Pastors will be available at the front of the sanctuary immediately after this morning’s service.
From the Pastor’s Desk The joy of the Lord is your strength – Nehemiah 8:10 – You will remember the shortest verse in the Bible in English – Jesus wept – John 11:35. Jesus wept this time as He stood outside the tomb of His deceased friend Lazarus. We also read last Wednesday night in Luke 19, that Jesus when He saw Jerusalem, He saw the city and wept – Luke 19:41. He wept because His people Israel weren’t ready for Him on the very day they should have been. Jesus also wept when He knelt in the Garden of Gethsemane and was in agony..and His sweat became like great drops of blood – Luke 22:22. As Christians we must never confuse happiness with joy. Happiness comes with happy circumstances; joy wells up deep inside our souls as we learn to trust Christ. Joy does not mean that we are never sad or that we never cry. But joy is a quiet confidence, a state of inner peace that flows only from God. There are times when life’s storms rob us of our happiness, but such storms can never rob us of the joy God gives us, as we turn in faith to Him and seek His face. This coming Christmas season, rest on the foundation of this joy.
If I could hear Christ praying for me in the next room, I would not fear a million enemies. Yet distance makes no difference. He is praying for me.

Grace Giving – We have a container at the left rear of the chapel for your grace-giving, or you can give electronically via the following information. CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089. Our greatest encouragement for giving is that it pleases the Lord. Let us worship Him as we give and remember that God was unsparing in His giving 2 Corinthians 9:6 But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
Once the service has commenced, we ask that you please limit moving or having to leave your seats- the ushers will assist you, should you need to leave your seat, to return to a one located to the rear of the sanctuary to not distract others – thank you for your assistance in this matter.
