Men always ought to pray and not lose heart – Luke 18:1
Many people don’t pray in public or out loud because they fear that what they say won’t be good enough, sound eloquent or have enough theological words in it.
I love hearing the simplest prayers from people who don’t put on a performance for the sake of everybody else over God.
When you gave your heart to Christ, you became a child of God, part of God’s family by adoption. Now as His child you have the privilege of coming directly into His presence and addressing God as your Heavenly Father.
When Paul said that we should – pray without ceasing 1 Thess 5:17, he used a term that in his day described a persistent cough. Repeatedly, throughout our day, we should be turning our hearts to God to praise Him and thank Him, to seek His help.
God is interested in everything you do – what He has planned for you in the coming week. There will be nothing in your week that is too great or too insignificant for you to share with Him.
