Don’t forget your Christmas gift ($10-$15) Place your name on the Baptism sheet at the information desk, if you would like to be part of our baptism service – Sunday after Church – 6th February 2022. Be out for the Sunday night children’s Christmas item – 12th December 6:00pm service. It’s just 19 days until our special Christmas Eve service – 6:00pm, 24th Dec.

From the Pastor’s Desk – During the First World War, on Christmas Eve, the battlefield fell strangely quiet. As the soft snow fell, the thoughts of the young soldiers were of home and their families. Softly one young soldier began to hum, “Silent Night”. Other soldiers joined in until the trenches resounded with the Christmas song. When they finished, they were astonished to hear echoing from the trenches across no-man’s land: In their own tongue the other soldiers also sang “Silent Night.” That night they were thinking of The Prince of Peace, the Christ of Christmas. Imagine for a moment, how different this world would be if we could unite together around that “holy Infant so tender and mild…” But we know full well that full peace will come only when Jesus returns to rule and reign from His throne in Jerusalem. But until that day we can know His peace personally in our hearts and we can be His messengers, His ambassadors of His peace in a world so desperately in need of it. Let us commit our lives to Him today to share His peace.

Calvary Chapel Nasinu – Fiji Pray for our mission field in Fiji please.

Grace Giving – We have a container at the left rear of the chapel for your grace-giving, or you can give electronically via the following information. CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089. Our greatest encouragement for giving is that it pleases the Lord. Let us worship Him as we give and remember that God was unsparing in His giving 2 Corinthians 9:6 But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

Once the service has commenced, we ask that you please limit moving or having to leave your seats- the ushers will assist you, should you need to leave your seat, to return to a one located to the rear of the sanctuary to not distract others – thank you for your assistance in this matter.

“Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
