Coming Events –Tonight, Pastor Marlon begins a timely study on what Christ thinks of the Church, as we look at the 7 Churches in the Book of Revelation. Pastors and Elders are available to pray with you directly after each service. For those who are being baptized on Sunday the 6th of February, please attend the teaching session that explains baptism with Sheldon Loader, 9:00 am, Sunday 23rd January here at the Chapel. Men, we are looking for some more dedicated Ushers to help with our morning and evening services. Please see Thomas Woodage for further information . if you would like to assist in this ministry. Prayer before a service makes a world of difference so we invite you to join us for prayer each Sunday morning pre-service in Classroom #1. Your praying can and will make a difference. All our services are available live streamed from our web page www.ccsh.com.au Remember we have prayer 24/7 via our SMS which you can utilise or join as part of the prayer team. See Marty Le Chat about becoming part of the prayer ministry here at CCSH. Today, if you would like to receive Christ as your Lord and Saviour, please see one of our pastors and we will pray with you and provide you with a new Bible.

From the Pastor’s Desk Over the Christmas break, Helen and I have experienced a number of periods where our residence has been without power. Christmas night we lost it for 13 hours and then last week we lost it again for another 7 hours. It is amazing what happens when your house has no power. All your food begins to spoil, there is no relief from the heat due to no air conditioning. Cold showers and no light all add to living without power. It is when the power is restored that you are truly thankful for all the assistance to living power provides. It’s the same in our Christian walk, when we attempt to live without prayer, the Word, and the power of the Holy Spirit, we end up living in the dark, things begin to spoil, and life becomes increasingly uncomfortable. Sadly, many who confess Christ as Lord today are living in the dark and things are beginning to spoil. The Apostle John teaches us – 1Jo 1:7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. I encourage you this year to not get used to living in the dark when you can be living in the Light with the power of God that never disconnects. His power does not drop off under load nor does it come down in a storm. Are you aware of God’s power in your life today? Do you want to have His power in your life? Call on Him and seek Him and He will fill you afresh with His grace, strength, and power. It makes a world of difference in a world that is indifferent.

Calvary Chapel Nasinu – Fiji Please pray for CC Nasinu – “Full ministry will be back in February. Covid has taken its toll again and the government has tightened its regulations once more. Please pray for our ministry for this year.” – Pastor Charles

Grace Giving – We have a container at the left rear of the chapel for your grace-giving, or you can give electronically via the following information. CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089. Our greatest encouragement for giving is that it pleases the Lord. Let us worship Him as we give and remember that God was unsparing in His giving Pro 3:9 Honor the LORD with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase; So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine.

“When wealth is lost, nothing is lost; when health is lost, something is lost; when character is lost, all is lost.” – Billy Graham

Once the service has commenced, we ask that you please limit moving or having to leave your seats- the ushers will assist you, should you need to leave your seat, to return to a one located to the rear of the sanctuary to not distract others – thank you!
