Daily devotion – instant prayer
1Samuel 12:23 Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way
We all at some time face trials and tribulations, and each is an opportunity to pray. Far too often we Christians close our conversation with someone who is struggling with…. “I will pray for you!”
But sadly, often that is the last of it. We need to be true to our word; we need to actually do what we said we would do and pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ the way we would want them to pray for us.
We miss the point of the blessing of being able to pray for someone each time we renege on our mission.
The next time someone you are talking to reveals a need or a matter that you can pray for, right there and then, no matter where you are, pray for them!
This way you will always be true to your word.
