Daily devotion – Jesus is Coming
Mat 24:14 “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”
Jesus Christ…will return soon. Jesus said that only the Father in Heaven knows exactly when – and this should keep us from wild speculations.
But Jesus gave us some definite signs that we should be looking for that tells us He is near!
We should for example, be on guard against false Christs and false prophets. Scriptures also teaches us that there will be “wars and rumours of war” – Matthew 24:6, as well as unprecedented natural disasters.
Christians will be persecuted for their faith – this is surely coming quicker than we think!
Another sign of Jesus return will be that hearts once passionate for Jesus will become cold toward Him. This tragic loss of fervent love will continue to a breakdown of morals, another sign the end is near.
Are you ready, are you reading God’s Word, are you in fellowship, are you serving Him, are you giving to Him, are you doing everything in your life for God’s glory, or are you coasting…..?
Jesus is coming…..ready or not. Be ready!
