FATHER’S DAY SERVICE – SUNDAY 4TH SEPTEMBER!
Coming Events –– The deposit has been paid for the installation of new roller blinds that will make our front patio area weatherproof in winter and more useful in the coming summer. In addition, we have now finalised the complete replacement of all previous old split air con systems throughout the building for far more efficient and higher standard systems. New Connection Cards have been printed with some minor changes. Now is a great time to fill in your card and become part of the servant team here at CCSH. Parents be reminded, we have a cry room for feeding mothers, (not soundproof), a creche for the infants and two Sunday school classes. In addition, the foyer has a screen with sound connected for the child who needs that space so as not to be a distraction in the main sanctuary, and to allow their parent to not miss the teaching. Our aim and ultimate goal here at CCSH is to have families seated together, parents and their children once your child has graduated from Sunday school and is able to sit in the sanctuary. Sunday 4th September our special Father’s Day service. Invite dad along for this special service as we celebrate the role of Fathers in the homes!
Helen’s Heart Strength and Dignity are her clothing, and she smiles at the future – Proverbs 31:25 A word to women: God knows our plight – how the toil and uncertainty of recent events can bring upon us fear and doubts. But God in His providence has placed you in these last days – this is your purpose. We can as women demonstrate absolute confidence in our heavenly Father to our husbands, children, and family and friends – to a world that needs Jesus. Inspire faith, not fear and go ahead and smile at the future for we know our loving Father and Creator of all things is in perfect and total control!
From the Pastor’s Desk – Next Sunday we celebrate Father’s Day. We have no evening service so to allow families more time to spend with their dads. Make sure you get some photos together as you gather as a family. Time passes by and our memories fade. Fathers have it all against them in our current world. They have been cut right out of the picture by our modern world’s views. Their role has been reclassified as an old stereo type position, no longer valid or needed in our society. It is a reflection of a world that has turned its back on our Heavenly Father and His position as God. The repercussions of such a rebellion against Him and the role and importance of a father are clearly seen in a world without leadership, a confusion of identity and a lack of protection for the innocent. But God our Father has NOT given up on us nor has He turned His back on us. He is still in control and soon He will display to the whole world that He is the Lord God Almighty. Yet in all His power, He is the Father who loves us gently and passionately. Who watches over us while we sleep and promises to keep us in His protection. This is why we can have peace in a world without peace. Because our Heavenly who loves us is still in control! John 10: 28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand
Calvary Chapel Nasinu – Fiji Pastor Charles sends his greetings and thanks for our support and constant prayers!
Grace Giving – We have a container at the left rear of the chapel for your grace-giving, or you can give electronically via the following information. CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089. Our greatest encouragement for giving is that it pleases the Lord. Let us worship Him as we give and remember that God was unsparing in His giving Pro 3:9 Honor the LORD with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase; So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine. Matthew 6:21 – For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. In giving, the real issue isn’t giving money. It is giving ourselves to the Lord. If we really give ourselves to the Lord, then the right kind of material giving will naturally follow.
