Daily devotion – Get it sorted!
Pro 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
Pro 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.
There are times when we can get frustrated with things not going the way we had hoped in the service of the Lord. Perhaps a ministry that you are involved in or seeking to take a step of faith into. Maybe you are in a ministry and wondering, “Lord am I here of my own doing or is this Your will?”
We can make our lives so difficult when we wrestle with that which we simply should just cast before the lord in prayer. The point of that however is sometimes we still won’t take our hands off the rudder of the ship. We are not really prepared for God saying we made a mistake, we are doing this all in our own steam.
Make your life much simpler and less frustrated. Give the matter, word for word to the Lord, and then whatever His answer or leading is obey it – if the door closes don’t try to open it or kick it down again. Or if the door is open, then continue to commit your path to God’s leading and timing – not yours.
When you pray about such a matter, don’t use flowery or lengthy words – just pray simply and to the point. Then accept what God says.
And the matter will be solved!
