From the Pastor’s Desk – How can your faith become stronger? This is a desire within all of our hearts. Firstly, be sure of your own personal commitment to Jesus Christ. This is the most important issue of life! Have you personally acknowledged your sins to God and sought His forgiveness? Have you at the same time then put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ as your Saviour and Lord? Secondly, are you seeing your faith grow and become stronger by putting your trust and faith in God’s Word? The Word of God, the Bible, is the spiritual food for your soul, your inner man, given to us by God to strengthen our faith. As we read God’s Word and commit our life to it, feeding on it for our spiritual sustenance, we learn of God’s great love for us, and also how He desires and commands us to live. Lastly, draw strength from His Church, other believers, in the body of Christ. You need to hear His Word as it is preached and taught. Commit your resources to seeing His kingdom grow and for you to enjoy the blessing of giving.

Helen’s Heart The man’s name was Nabal and his wife, Abigail, was a sensible and beautiful woman. But Nabal, a descendant of Caleb, was mean and dishonest in all his dealings. 1 Samuel 25:3 NIV Nabal had rejected David’s bequest, in his usual abrupt and proud manner. David was furious and intent on exacting revenge. Abigail thought quickly and sprung into action to save many innocent lives – their workers and their families. She prepared a meal for David and his men. Her words of wisdom saved David from an action he would have later regretted. Her good sense and wisdom from the Lord saved many. Seek God’s wisdom to save many this week.

Calvary Chapel Nasinu – Fiji Keep CC Nasinu in your prayers as they seek God’s wisdom for finding more open doors for the teaching of God’s Word in Fiji.

Grace Giving – We have a container at the left rear of the chapel for your grace-giving, or you can give electronically via the following information. CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089. Our greatest encouragement for giving is that it pleases the Lord. Let us worship Him as we give and remember that God was unsparing in His giving Exo 36:3 And they received from Moses all the offering which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of making the sanctuary. So they continued bringing to him freewill offerings every morning. Exo 36:5 and they spoke to Moses, saying, “The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work which the LORD commanded us to do.”
