Daily devotion – War Games and the laws of physics
The Master’s touch….
The earth’s gravity is critical to the balance of our atmosphere. A slight increase in the strength of gravities force and the atmosphere would retain too much ammonia and methane which are toxic to life. A slight decrease, we would see our atmosphere lose too much water. In both cases life could not exist.
The time the earth takes to rotate on its axis is critical to our planets weather balance. If the time to rotate – 24 hours – were increased by a few percent, then temperature differences would be too extreme to support life. If the rotation was a little slower, then the atmospheric wind velocities would be too great and all of life would be destroyed.
God’s word tells us that He controls every detail of our existence.
Psa 46:2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
The threats of the war in Ukraine escalating continue to grow as we see NATO troops in a massive war games exercise.
“The North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s (NATO) annual nuclear war games in Europe, called ‘Steadfast Noon’. The two-week-long NATO exercise began on Monday and involves 60 aircraft from 14 countries, including B-52 bombers that flew in from Minot Air Force in North Dakota.
While both the NATO and Russian drills are long-planned and held each year, the exercises have not previously taken place against the backdrop of a large-scale European land war, where the risk of miscalculation is at its highest point since the Cold War.”

Now whilst these war games have been carried out on previous occasions the focus from both Russia and NATO military forces are both on a knife’s edge.
The war in Ukraine has caused nations around the world to be forced to decide their alliances and reveal their fears.
Iran, Israel, Syria, the United States, Russia and China, are nations that keep being spoken of even though some of them are a great distance away from the Ukraine conflict.
The Bible reveals to each of us the certainty of the events that will soon unfold.
Revelation 1:3 Blessed is he that reads, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
Let us be the children of the light who know the seasons and for certainty we need to be watching and praying for our redemptions draws near – Christ’s return for His Church is so close!
