What – A great time of study of the Word, Christmas gift exchange – bring a gift of $10-15 value to be exchanged. 21 days til Christmas!. From the Pastor’s Desk – Revelation 3:20 – “Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends. Soon it will be Christmas and we will at some time have an opportunity to pray for our food, or to give thanks for God’s Son Jesus Christ and for family. But now is the time to prepare for Christmas in earnest prayer. What do I mean by that? To pray specifically for the time when you will be with unsaved family, friends, and possible new acquaintances. Being unprepared in prayer as a Christian for such a time as this is negligence at best and uncaring at worst. Our lives on this earth as believers are for such times as this! Let us pray for our actions, our speech to witness of the love of Jesus Christ so that He can be seen in our changed lives by those who knew us before we knew Christ. Pause and listen seriously to that one whose heart is damaged or in pain from the trials and storms they have been through or are currently experiencing. Utilise the Wed evening prayer nights here at CCSH to pray with others, to join forces with the Church of Jesus Christ for the battle of your loved one’s souls. On the day you gather with family, be like Nehemiah constantly lifting up prayer to the Lord for wisdom and patience. But above all, be the true representative of Jesus Christ in the homes and gatherings you attend. Bring Jesus with you to meet the family. He loved eating and talking with sinners! 2 Corinthians 5:20 – So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!”
Helen’s Heart For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name – Hebrews 6:10 Hidden service done so often by many – the housewife, mum who endlessly cleans, washes, irons, and cooks. The worker who works tirelessly but the credit will rarely come their way. God who sees in secret, will not overlook your commitment. Jesus came to be our example the God who served! So keep working and God is not unjust.
Calvary Chapel Nasinu – Let us be praying that CC Nasinu – will be filled for its coming Christmas services!
Grace Giving – We have a container at the left rear of the chapel for your grace-giving, or you can give electronically via the following information. CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089. Deu 14:22“You must set aside a tithe of your crops—one-tenth of all the crops you harvest each year.Deu 14:23 Bring this tithe to the designated place of worship—the place the LORD your God chooses for his name to be honored—and eat it there in his presence. This applies to your tithes of grain, new wine, olive oil, and the firstborn males of your flocks and herds. Doing this will teach you always to fear the LORD your God.
