Daily devotion – Our Saviour is born!

Pastor Keith   -

Jhn 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Many people say the Church is not living in the real world. That the Bible is outdated and needs to be changed to adapt with the new philosophies and thinking of the modern world.

That’s just dumb to actually make that statement and reveals a complete ignorance of God and the Word of God.

Christmas is when Jesus Christ, the Son of God, entered our world. Jesus entered our world not LIKE a human but AS a human. To reveal to the world not only that there is a God but to also declare what God is like! Never in humanities thinking did it ever consider that Almighty God would enter our world as an infant.

God became human flesh – a baby.

Why did God do this at all? Why did He go so far?

He wants you to know in 2022 that He knows you and understands you – completely.
He understands how you feel and He has had to deal with what you have had to deal with.

Jesus is not out of touch with our reality even though the world seems to think so in its blind ignorance. Jesus has been through weakness and testing, He has experienced it all – everything but sin!

Would you like to see God? As a little boy this was my heart’s greatest desire. Jesus said, “Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father.” – John 14:9.

Everything changes when we see the face of God!

That first Christmas Eve, Mary and Joseph, the shepherds all gazed into God’s face and saw the peace of God.

If Almighty God was willing to enter the world of animals, shepherds and swaddling clothes, you can rest assure that He is willing to enter into yours!

Christmas is a time of rejoicing for Christ our Saviour is born!
