Daily devotion – encouraging each other

Pastor Keith   -

Hebrews 10: 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

We are often unaware of the impact we have as Christians on other believers in the body of Christ.

In Hebrews 11, the famous faith chapter, we have this amazing list of people whose faith encourages us so much. From Abel to Samuel, how wonderful these lives inspire us to live by faith and to trust in the Lord.

But some whose names are not listed in this chapter are leading the charge again to inspire us today.

There have been people here at Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour whose faith has inspired many of us as they deal with their struggle. Yet, we see them in Church, being a blessing to others and bringing the joy of the Lord with them.

People are impacted by our walk with God, just like the verses in Hebrews declares.

We do not live our lives as followers of Christ in isolation. But as part of the body of Christ we each can bring courage, comfort and hope to one another……by living for God in spite of our trials.
